Kwassass was a Covenant Grunt stationed on the Covenant Supercarrier Sublime Transcendence in 2552. He was in charge of the maintenance on Subdeck K.
After The Battle of Reach, the Sublime Transcendence picked up all the mining equipment from Reach after the Covenant tried to excavate CASTLE Base. That equipment was then put into subdeck K, and it was Kwassass' responsibility to repair and refit it.
Months later, as the ship was over Joyous Exultation with the rest of the Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose, Kwassass discovered a NOVA bomb had been taken aboard along with the rest of the equipment by the Engineers for study. He inadvertenly activated it, destroying not only him and his ship, but the entire fleet at Joyous Exultation as well.
