Template:Rank Infobox Colonel[1] is a field commissioned officer rank of the UNSC Marine Corps and UNSC Army, equal in rank to Captain in the UNSC Navy. They may be given command of regiments or brigades or serve as staff officers to larger units.[1]
They my be addressed as "full Colonel", "bird Colonel" or "full bird Colonel" (due to their rank insignia being a silver eagle) to tell them a part from the lower ranking Lieutenant Colonels.
