Facts Confirmed[edit]
- On 20 January 2006 (UTC) User:Manticore had some issues with this article, including, "Where are the numbers for command coming from? Please cite references.". However on 07:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC) they were resolved:
Untitled[edit]
Due to the fact that Eric Nylund basically confirmed the rank structure being based upon the American system, the numbers are coming from the known American system.
The rank structure is seperate to that of command authority. Also, these numbers themselves have changed several times over the course of U.S. history. See Talk:Regiment for a more in depth discussion. -- Manticore File:Fleet Admiral.jpg|25px]] Talk | CSV 15:18, 25 January 2007 (UTC)
- No references cited. Removing numbers until can be confirmed later. -- Manticore File:Fleet Admiral.jpg|25px]] Talk | CSV 15:39, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
Rank Insignia Dispute[edit]
File:Banksuniform.jpg|thumb|300px|As you can see the UNSC "eagle" as shown on his hat is very different from the present day American eagle. -- Yamanba 22:29, 29 January 2007 (UTC)]]
Yes, but this is a coat of arms (likely that of the UNSC Marine Corps). That is seperate to a rank insignia. The rank insignia has never been described as being worn on the hat, either. Whatever the actual rank insignia, the fact that all the other insignias follow the US system is evidence that this one most likely does too. -- Manticore File:Fleet Admiral.jpg|25px]] Talk | CSV 15:38, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
