{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Defense of Concord|File:HINF Intel5 Concord.jpg|In early December 2551, an unusually small Covenant fleet arrived at the Outer Colony of Concord, deploying ground forces to major cities such as Lethbridge. Coordination between the UNSC Army Rangers and the Concordian militia prevented the Covenant from gaining a foothold on the ground while S-14 Baselard pilots pushed Banshees and Vampires into range of the Army's M9 Wolverines, neutralizing the attackers' air superiority. Meanwhile, Concord's planetside mass drivers managed to hold back the Covenant naval assets long enough for a UNSC strike group to destroy the alien warships. Without control in space, the Covenant's ground forces were stranded and redirected their attention to attack smaller townships within the planet's remote Hinterlands region.}}<noinclude>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Blightlands|File:PF BlightlandsEnvironment Screenshot.png|Blightlands are regions infested and transformed by the Flood to create an environment where the parasite can thrive. These regions feature specialized growths capable of harvesting energy from the soil, solar radiation, and any form of life. If left to fester and spread, blightlands will eventually consume a sufficient amount of biomass for the construction of city-sized spore towers, oceans teeming with Flood Super Cell, and pseudo-organs designed to complete the process of consuming an entire planet. Blightlands also host several dangerous organisms, such as the Blightstalker, a keymind which prowls the region as it coordinates local Flood forces and hunts for any survivors.}<noinclude>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|UNSC Army|File:HR WarthogCharge Concept 2.jpg|Organized under the UNSC's Unified Ground Command alongside the Marine Corps and Air Force, the UNSC Army is tasked with the defense of UEG colony worlds and the long-term occupation of enemy territory. The Army trains organizes, equips, and maintains land, maritime, and airborne forces to serve this end. {{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Quick to Adjust|File:Huragok Halo 3- ODST.jpg|Quick to Adjust is a Huragok that absorbed Vergil, a subroutine of New Mombasa's Superintendent AI, during the Battle of Mombasa. Extracted from the doomed city by the ODSTs of Alpha-Nine, Quick to Adjust defected to the UNSC and was interrogated by Sergeant Avery Johnson regarding the Portal to the Ark. After the war, Quick to Adjust was given the name of Vergil and he was sent on ONI field operations alongside Sadie Endesha, who acted as the Huragok's handler. During the Created Conflict, the Huragok was key in helping Spartan Edward Buck defeat the rogue AI Leonidas, saving the lives of numerous Spartans, including Jun-A266.}}<noinclude>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Pattern-2 composite sword|File:HINF-Wolf Fang.png|Master-crafted by Misriah Armory, the Pattern-2 composite sword is a machete-style melee weapon often issued to UNSC forces deployed to jungle environments. The sword's grip notably includes a thin gel layer similar to that found within MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, a feature which reduces the shock felt by the user. Pattern-2 composite swords are commonly fielded by Spartans for use in assassinations and melee combat. Spartan Hieu Dinh's personal machete "Wolf Fang" has been sharpened on Covenant armor and has been used to execute many Banished foes.}}<noinclude>

Rarely encountered in combat both during and after the Human-Covenant War, the Bkowe'nei-pattern Vampire is an anti-aircraft fighter with unique armaments, including a heavy needle cannon, two medium plasma cannons, a stasis cannon and a stasis bomb. While it functioned well in its intended role, the Covenant would favor other aircraft with heavier armaments and greater versatility. However, Vampires notably saw combat during the Harvest Campaign, the Battle for Arcadia, and the following Battle of Trove. After the war's end, several Vampires were witnessed in the possession of Fleetmaster Rojka 'Kasaan.
