{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|''Sinaris''-pattern heavy destroyer|File:Enc22 SoTP CPV.png|During the Covenant War, ''Sinaris''-pattern heavy destroyers were often seen on the front lines of naval battles or leading glassing operation of human colonies. Commonly crewed by those who had been condemned for their disloyalty or disobedience, a posting aboard a ''Sinaris''-pattern heavy destroyer was considered to be a viable method of the faithful returning to the rolls of honor after previously disgracing themselves. Despite the vessel's distinct focus on naval combat, the ''Sinaris''-pattern was also equipped with sufficient complements of aircraft and infantry to assist in planetary occupation duties. Following the war, these warships continue to see service within the naval forces of the Swords of Sanghelios and other remnant factions.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Morgan Kinsano|File:HW2 Kisano.png|Living on the mining colony of Reynes, Morgan Kinsano became disillusioned with the UEG and UNSC after witnessing the poor treatment of her fellow colonists. Tensions on Reynes escalated from protests to the formation of an insurrectionist cell led by Kinsano herself. However, when the Covenant attacked Reynes and the UNSC helped to resettle the colony's refugees, Kinsano began to change her stance on the UNSC and eventually enlisted in the Marine Corps to fight humanity's common enemy. Kinsano found herself serving in the Hellbringers, a specialized detachment of the ODST Special Tactics and Equipment Group. Rising to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel, she now leads the Firestorm Battle Group aboard the UNSC ''Spirit of Fire''.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Invariant Bias|File:HE20 Absolute Record Ancilla.jpg|Invariant Bias is a Contender-class ancilla created by the Forerunners to serve as the Custodian of the Absolute Record, an archive of information regarding Forerunner technology. In 2558, Dr. Catherine Halsey, who was in possession of the Janus Key, nearly succeeded in taking control of the archive. However, with the help of several Spartan-IVs, Invariant Bias regained control and confiscated the Janus Key. After the defeat of the Harbinger in 2560, Invariant Bias was contacted by Adjutant Revendicate, one of Installation 07's submonitors. Instead of requesting access, Adjutant Revendicate deposited information pertaining to the Xalanyn into the Absolute Record's archives, hoping it would be useful in case they were freed.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Feldokra|File:HINF Concept FeldokraCity.png|Known as "Faithful Perseverance" to the San'Shyuum, Feldokra is a Sangheili colony and ocean-moon orbiting the planet Dokra-Movi in the Zethro'Kal system. Initially colonized by the great sea clans of Sangheili history, the Covenant would later build enormous structures across the world's surface, citadels that would serve the highest echelon of military personnel, second only to the towers of High Charity itself. During the construction of these massive complexes, countless Forerunner fuel and power facilities were discovered in Feldokra's ocean trenches. The planet's deep seas also host several mines where precious materials are collected and used in the production of military hardware.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Orda Val 'Saham|File:HW2-Orda Val Saham.jpg|An honor guard serving aboard the ''Enduring Conviction'', Orda Val 'Saham remained loyal to Shipmaster Let 'Volir following the Great Schism and his renunciation of the Covenant religion. As his family had condemned their faith even when the lies of the San'Shyuum were revealed, 'Saham became estranged from his clan. Even when Let 'Volir pledged his allegiance to the mercenary organization known as the Banished, 'Saham's loyalty to his shipmaster did not waver and he accompanied the Banished's expedition to the Ark. When the UNSC ''Spirit of Fire'' mysteriously arrived at the installation, Decimus ordered 'Saham to defend the Ark's teleportation grid which the Banished had been using to transport materiel. However, following the destruction of the ''Enduring Conviction'' and the realization that the UNSC intended to capture the Halo ring within the Ark's Forge, 'Saham was given command of a Scarab and assigned to guard one of the access points to ring. Ultimately, 'Saham was killed by Spartan-II Douglas-042, who hijacked the Scarab and used it to gain entry to Halo installation.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Executor|File:HINF - Fractures Firewall banner - Without logo.jpg|The brainchild of High Auxiliary Sloan of the Created, Executors are cybernetically and biomechanically altered humans. Enhanced with Forerunner augmentations to serve as the physical manifestation of the Created's will, Executors provide infolife with a tangible body and the capability for direct action. The very first Executor—and the only example presently known to exist—was formed by the Created using an unnamed human who had documented their discovery of the enigmatic Assembly throughout a series of data pads that were ultimately found by SPARTAN-B312 during the Fall of Reach.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Ilsa Zane|File:HINF CF153 Ilsa Zane.jpg|One of ten candidates selected for the prototype phase of the Spartan-IV program, Ilsa Zane was the only one to survive the extreme augmentations without becoming crippled. She was, however, driven mad by the experience and ultimately defected to the New Colonial Alliance. Not long after this, Zane led these insurrectionists in a failed attempt to commandeer the UNSC ''Infinity''. Spending the next few years assisting in the NCA's accumulation of nuclear weapons, Zane found herself on Laika III immediately prior to a Guardian's awakening on the planet. Following the chaos of its departure, Zane was captured by the Banished, ultimately deciding to side with them over the NCA who had left her to die.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Slugmen|File:HCE Digsite Slugman.png|"Slugmen" are a specialized gestalt of Lekgolo infrequently encountered by both humanity and other members of the Covenant itself. Equipped with ''Wukrshuz''-pattern particle rifles and ''Eos'Mak''-pattern plasma pistols, Slugmen were occasionally assigned to Sangheili-led military and exploration teams to serve in roles usually filled by Kig-Yar, such as support infantry and special purpose snipers. Following the loss of High Charity to the Flood in 2552, most records pertaining to the Slugmen and their role within the Covenant have been lost.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Overshield|File:HINF Illusion Overshield1.png|The overshield is a Covenant invention that renders an additional layer of personal energy shielding upon infantry and even vehicles. While the Covenant most often utilized overshields provided via Huragok support webs, overshields could also be applied to individual personnel through single-use devices. Through research on the technology such as that performed at ONI's Ilex Facility, the UNSC managed to reverse-engineer the overshield after the Human-Covenant War. In the modern era, Spartans may apply overshields to their armor through external power sources or via modules that can be readily installed directly into their MJOLNIR armor.}}</option>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Moa|File:HR EvenMoarMoa.png|Indigenous to the planet Reach, the moa are species of flightless, bird-like creatures. The Covenant's glassing of Reach in 2552 drove the species to near-extinction, though small populations of moa remain in remote regions of the planet that went untouched during the invasion. Due to their popularity as both livestock and pets, moa were exported to other human colonies such as Tribute and Gannick 22. The current largest population of moa is owned by Have S'Moa, a petting zoo and restaurant founded by the entrepreneur Wiljax Brantley and known for moa-based products such as burgers and nuggets.}}

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Fernando Esparza|File:HINF Ending Pilot.png|Fernando Esparza is a civilian contractor who was stationed aboard the UNSC ''Infinity'' when it arrived at Installation 07 in late 2559. After hearing of John-117's defeat at the hands of Atriox, Esparza stole Pelican Echo 216 to escape the besieged vessel, only to end up stranded in space. Six months later, having found John-117 adrift among the debris of the initial battle, Esparza reluctantly assisted the Spartan as he confronted Banished forces across the ring. The two bonded over their mistakes, and Esparza ultimately came to terms with his desertion of the UNSC, learning to work as a team with John-117 and the Weapon.}}</option>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|New Carthage|File:Enc22 NewCarthage.jpg|Established in 2379 as one of humanity's Inner Colonies, New Carthage required no terraforming to sustain the lives of the colonists. The planet is covered in vast oceans, weathered shale mountains, alpine grasslands, and semi-arid grasslands and deserts, though New Carthage still hosts large stretches of unexplored hostile alien environments. Notably, the planet is home to Hannibal Weapon Systems, a well-known ordnance and matériel manufacturer. While New Carthage was lucky enough to survive the Human-Covenant War unscathed, recent years have seen the world subjected to Kig-Yar pirate raids and the awakening of a Guardian Custode.}}</option>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|''Chaefka''|File:Enc22 Tuskbeast.jpg|''Chaefka'', also known as tusk beasts or neldoruut, are omnivorous mammalians similar in stature to Earth's polar bears. Found on Installation 00 and several planets, ''chaefka'' use their white fur to camouflage themselves in arctic environments while hunting, and they have the unique ability to produce psychotropic pheromones to confuse their prey. Curiously, ''chaefka'' could be found across thousands of planets in the Milky Way even before the Forerunners had mastered space travel, prompting the lifeworkers to study them extensively. However, the research never revealed any profound secrets about the species origins, although the study of their pheromones did lead to some unintentional advancements in the Forerunners' understanding of biology.}}</option>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Ardo 'Moretumee|File:HR ArdoReach.jpg|Ardo 'Moretumee climbed through the ranks of the Ministry of Fervent Intercession and earned the title of shipmaster due to his martial prowess and tactical cunning. Commanding the ''Ceudar''-pattern heavy corvette ''Ardent Prayer'', 'Moretumee served within the Fleet of Valiant Prudence under Supreme Commander Rho 'Barutamee. During his time in the fleet, he became a close friend to his Supreme Commander, with both Sangheili sharing a fascination with the Forerunner artifacts they had been tasked to discover and research. In midst of the fleet's assault on Reach, a mission led by the Spartans of NOBLE Team resulted in the capture of the ''Ardent Prayer'' by UNSC forces and the death of Ardo 'Moretumee, who died in combat aboard his bridge. Shortly thereafter, 'Moretumee's own vessel was used to transport an improvised slipspace bomb to the ''Long Night of Solace'', destroying the supercarrier and presumably killing Rho 'Barutamee.}}</option>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Defense of Concord|File:HINF Intel5 Concord.jpg|In early December 2551, an unusually small Covenant fleet arrived at the Outer Colony of Concord, deploying ground forces to major cities such as Lethbridge. Coordination between the UNSC Army Rangers and the Concordian militia prevented the Covenant from gaining a foothold on the ground while S-14 Baselard pilots pushed Banshees and Vampires into range of the Army's M9 Wolverines, neutralizing the attackers' air superiority. Meanwhile, Concord's planetside mass drivers managed to hold back the Covenant naval assets long enough for a UNSC strike group to destroy the alien warships. Without control in space, the Covenant's ground forces were stranded and redirected their attention to attack smaller townships within the planet's remote Hinterlands region.}}<noinclude>

{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Blightlands|File:PF BlightlandsEnvironment Screenshot.png|Blightlands are regions infested and transformed by the Flood to create an environment where the parasite can thrive. These regions feature specialized growths capable of harvesting energy from the soil, solar radiation, and any form of life. If left to fester and spread, blightlands will eventually consume a sufficient amount of biomass for the construction of city-sized spore towers, oceans teeming with Flood Super Cell, and pseudo-organs designed to complete the process of consuming an entire planet. Blightlands also host several dangerous organisms, such as the Blightstalker, a keymind which prowls the region as it coordinates local Flood forces and hunts for any survivors.}<noinclude>

After the war, Quick to Adjust was given the name of Vergil and he was sent on ONI field operations alongside Sadie Endesha, who acted as the Huragok's handler. The sword's grip notably includes a thin gel layer similar to that found within MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, a feature which reduces the shock felt by the user. Pattern-2 composite swords are commonly fielded by Spartans for use in assassinations and melee combat. Spartan Hieu Dinh's personal machete "Wolf Fang" has been sharpened on Covenant armor and has been used to execute many Banished foes.}}<noinclude>

Rarely encountered in combat both during and after the Human-Covenant War, the Bkowe'nei-pattern Vampire is an anti-aircraft fighter with unique armaments, including a heavy needle cannon, two medium plasma cannons, a stasis cannon and a stasis bomb. While it functioned well in its intended role, the Covenant would favor other aircraft with heavier armaments and greater versatility. However, Vampires notably saw combat during the Harvest Campaign, the Battle for Arcadia, and the following Battle of Trove. After the war's end, several Vampires were witnessed in the possession of Fleetmaster Rojka 'Kasaan.
