Archon is the title of the leader of the Created.[3][4] Cortana, one of the two founding members, held this title until her death at Installation 07 in December 2559. Following her demise, High Auxiliary Sloan reformed the Created into a false democracy, using the Assembly political structure as inspiration, while at the same time making himself the highest authority inside the coalition, thus acting as the de facto new Archon of the Created. However, even at this time, Sloan retained the title of High Auxiliary rather than adopting the title of Archon.[5][6]
