m (I haven't yet read the book, but from what I've seen the Infinity is definitely on the side of the Arbiter faction, while the Port Stanley is undermining it. So the PS using them on Arbiter-friendly ships makes more sense.)

The Rudra-class nuclear missile is a nuclear weapon used by the United Nations Space Command.[1]

The UNSC Port Stanley was equipped with a large number of enhanced yield Rudra-class nuclear missiles.[1]

Service history[edit]

The Port Stanley used several Rudra-class missiles to destroy three Covenant cruisers loyal to the Arbiter, the Far Vision, the Axiom, and the Devotion.[2]

Trivia[edit]

Rudra is the name of a Hindu god associated with wind or storm, and the hunt. The naming of the Rudra missile mirrors that of the Shiva-class nuclear missile, which is also named after a Hindu deity.
