The ODST/DEMO armor is a variant of the ODST armor.[1]
Overview[edit]
Design details[edit]
The DEMO variant of ODST armor bears resemblance to the late war design of the armor, with a notably more compact design. The front is equipped with a belt of grenades, and additionally comes equipped with a demolitions backpack.[2] The armour's component pieces are capable of being employed on the Mark VI MJOLNIR platform.[3] The ODST/DEMO armor is rated for vaccuum, allowing operators to perform short spacewalks on the exterior of spacecraft when needed.[4]
Usage[edit]
The ODST/DEMO armor is used for combat engineering and demolitions work.[1] It was employed by Ava Lang of Fireteam Raven during the Battle of Installation 04.[2]
In-game information[edit]
Halo: Fireteam Raven[edit]
The ODST/DEMO armor is worn by players playing as Ava Lang. It confers no in-game effects.
Halo 3[edit]
As of Series 6: Raven, the ODST/DEMO is available for use as an armor permutation in the Halo 3 component of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Unlike the version seen in Halo: Fireteam Raven, this iteration comes equipped with a combat knife on the left thigh. Additionally, during the flighting of Season 6: Raven, the preview in armor customization menu shows a grenade belt around the waist, but it has been removed in the final release. The base armor itself is directly taken from that used in the Fireteam Raven game rather than a recreation.[5]
