Kig-Yar troop carriers are large vessels built by the Kig-Yar. There were multiple troop carriers stored within the Redoubt on Metisette, intended to transport the Unggoy that were bred there to the Exodus Asteroid.[1][2] Like all Kig-Yar vessels, troop carriers are likely less elegant in design than most Covenant ships, mostly consisting of girders, rockets, and capsules haphazardly joined together around a core unit.[3]

One of these vessels was used temporarily by Thel 'Vadamee and his team of Sangheili Zealots during the Battle of the Rubble.
