A printer fabricator is a piece of human technology in use during the twenty-sixth century.[1] It can be used to manufacture simple objects based off of a plan. It is similar in concept and operation to the 3D printers of the twenty-first century.

Printer fabricators come in several different models, ranging from desk-top models for light work to models meant for the manufacture of large or heavy-duty objects.[1] Printer fabricators are known to posses a carriage arm and can utilize electrostatic polymers.[1]

Rani Sobeck's uncle owned a printer fabrication shop.[1] In 2552, Rani and Trevor attempted a failed business operation to manufacture disposable chatters, shaped like toy purple kittens, using a modified desk-top printer fabricator. The printer fabricator managed to produce 49 items before exploding.[1]
