Steve Covington was a human who listened to Benjamin Giraud's Hunt the Truth audio journal in 2558. After Giraud's entries revealed ONI had committed crimes in creating and covering up the origins of the Master Chief, Covington sent Giraud an audio email where he expressed how appalled he was that ONI would do such things. Despite his support for Giraud's leak, though, he urged him to call it off, as ONI might end up coming after him.[2]
