The super-AI network was a powerful series of networked artificial intelligence constructs operated by the Office of Naval Intelligence on Reach. The network possessed enormous computational power not available elsewhere in the colonies and could be used to perform highly complex calculations. On March 9, 2543, Admiral Preston J. Cole had the network calculate parameters for an in-system Slipstream space transition from within the atmosphere of a gas giant, supposedly in preparation for his possible escape from the destruction of Viperidae at the conclusion of the Battle of Psi Serpentis.[1]
