The wave-skimmer is a type of Sangheili maritime transport vehicle. Like most Covenant vehicles, it uses anti-gravity technology for propulsion and is also capable of limited, low-altitude flight. In January 2553, Forze and Jul 'Mdama used a very old wave-skimmer to travel from their home state of Mdama to the city-state of Ontom to meet with the Servants of the Abiding Truth. This particular vehicle was considered obsolete and had most recently been used to ferry Unggoy laborers to islands off the coast.[1]
