Yachts are a starship classification used by wealthy human civilians as personal transport and for vacationing.[1]

Overview[edit]

In the 21st-century, some oceanic vessels were also known as yachts. Both the oceanic and starship versions are considered status symbols.[1]

UNSC Prowlers are sometimes disguised as yachts by the Office of Naval Intelligence to avoid suspicion. The UNSC Circumference, the UNSC Apocalypso,[1] the UNSC Lark, and the UNSC Applebee are all examples.[2]

The Spartan 1.1 Faction acquired a yacht with which they could use to fight the Covenant.[3]
