ODST is a Halo 4 achievement added with the Crimson Map Pack. It was unlocked when the player killed an enemy player while airborne from a man cannon.[1] It could only be unlocked on a Crimson map.
Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.[2][3]
Trivia[edit]
Upon release, the achievement was glitched, allowing players to earn it through other methods. One way of obtaining it was through kills from the grave. This could be because through respawning, you are usually sent a fair distance from the site in question.
If unlocked as intended, the achievement could only be unlocked on Wreckage, as it is the only Crimson map with man cannons. A heavy weapon could make achievement easier, but even moderate skill with a battle rifle or DMR was sufficient.
