The cover for Halo: The Thursday War has been revealed and looks a little different from other novels. We finally get another look at the Infinity which appears in formation with 7 UNSC frigates and cruisers (4 cruisers, 3 frigates). Also there's some unknown Spartan on the cover who appears to be standing on a glass panel and doesn't appear to be a Spartan-IV but rather a Spartan-II. Although he/she appears complexing because of the random red light on their helmet. Now I want to start by adding a brief theory as to what may happen in the novel based on the cover and Glasslands. Since the Infinity appears on the cover, it must appear in the novel along with the other ships. Obviously the Infinity may see some action in this novel even though it was still under construction in Glasslands. The ship may be complete aside from the slip-space drive, but the Forerunner Slipspace tech will get it ready for release in one day or week (with the assistance of the Huragok). We may finally see what this ship is capable of (aside from the combat training deck). But more to the point, I believe that the Infinity, acting as the flagship of a small fleet of UNSC ships, will head to Venezia to deal with the Insurrectionist threat first, and perhaps, will head to Sanghelios to deal with the Servants of Abiding Truth. I also believe these events may be depicted in Halo 4's Spartan Ops, where we may finally, for the first time in the game series, fight Insurrectionist as Spartan-4s. But anyway thats all I have for now. You have any theories? Feel free to post some. --Killamint 10:39, 5 May 2012 (EDT)

::Oh, there's definitely gonna be a war or battle that starts at the beginning. At the end of Glasslands, Phillips and 'Telcam encountered something and whatever it was exploded in front of them. As far as the Elites, I think its the Servants of Abiding truth that are attacking Chief or some lost, rouge group. --Killamint 05:21, 6 May 2012 (EDT)

I sure hope that we get to fight some Humans in Halo 4, like you said Killamint. I was quite disappointed when the Arbiter only fought humans in a cut scene in HALO 2. They were right there! well that's my rant for the day, thanks for reading.Weeping Angel 21:25, 2 June 2012 (EDT)

The cover for Halo: The Thursday War has been revealed and looks a little different from other novels. We finally get another look at the UNSC Infinity which appears in formation with 7 UNSC frigates and cruisers (4 cruisers, 3 frigates).
