Unidentified Forerunner Millipede[edit]
Hey, I couldn't help but notice your recent edits about the "Unidentified Forerunner Millipede" in Halo: Cryptum. While I'm not sure is it notable or not, I think you should just be bold, and create a page for it. Unfortunately, I don't have the book, so I can't help writing it.
Create a page[edit]
To create a page, you need to make a link to it. Go to a related article and edit the page, creating a link to it. (In this case, "Unidentified Forerunner millipede") I'll make a link right here on your page: Unidentified Forerunner millipede. Press it, and you will be redirected to a page which says the article doesn't exist. Look at the bottom of the page, and you should see "Create this page!". Press it, and create the article. :D
Page contents[edit]
Except for the main section, there are a few things to make sure you include in the article: "Era", "List of appearances" and "Sources". "Era" means which part of the Halo timeline the object appeared in. Insert "{{era|}}" into the top of the article. Since the millipede appeared in the Forerunner times, insert "Forerunner" between the "{{era|" and "}}". "List of appearances" is pretty much self-explanatory, so I won't explain it. "Sources" is a bit more complicated: After you added certain information in the article, put "<ref></ref>" after the sentence, and between <ref> and </ref>, type the source of the statement. In this case, it's page 335 of Halo: Cryptum. Inserting "'''Halo: Cryptum''', ''''Chapter ??''", ''page 335''" there will create a source for the article (Note that I typed Chapter ?? because I don't know which chapter that page 335 is in, so replace it with the actual chapter number). Most important thing about citing your edits is to make sure you have a section named "Sources" and have "{{Ref/Sources}}" beneath it.
Category[edit]
To place your article in Category:Animals, simply place "[[Category:Animals]]" in the bottom of the page. The article will then automatically appear in the list.
Last but not least...[edit]
Sign your talk posts (but not edits!) with "~~~~"! If you don't understand my explanation, see here for the layout guide for the articles and here for the instruction for citing a source. Good luck! :) —S331 File:Bubbleshieldhud.svg|14 (COM • Mission Log • Profile) 11:47, 25 May 2012 (EDT)
