Separate stand-alone. If the other wiki is for a large volume of games, then all the Halo info would have to be compressed or it just wouldn't look very good. I say this is a good info site just on its own.--[[User:Dragonclaws|Dragonclaws]] 04:13, 6 Apr 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
:That was my same thought. I think I'll upgrade the software on this Wiki to the new version of MediaWiki, so it'll look purdier and whatnot. Anywho, keep up the great work, and thanks for everything. -- [[User:AgentSeethroo|AgentSeethroo]] 12:14, 6 Apr 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
Well...i think that if we were to transfer this info to Video Game Wiki..it would just be way too big.  This new site should be dedicated to video games, and not mostly have Halo info.  But still...we need to but our best info to Video Game wiki, and still make Halo look wicked. I'll rather the two remain separate, but that's just me. We have a lot of articles as it stands already. On another note, apologies if this is late, I haven't exactly been visiting.

News for the Wiki

Okay, no bad news. It's good news for once!

Here's the deal:

I'm creating another Wiki: The Video Game Wiki.

It's gonna encompass all areas of video games, to include PC games, Consoles, and even frickin' Pong.

Here's where you guys come in, though.

Of course, you're all invited to help out at the new wiki, but I have a question.

Do you guys want to import all the Halo Wiki's information into the VG Wiki and delete this wiki? Or should we keep this as a separate, stand-alone Wiki?

The new wiki should be up and running in the next few weeks, so tell me what you think?

UPDATE!

Well, the time has come. The new wiki will be up and running within the week, and the new games portal is being worked on.

Where is all this? Good question! Here's the answer:

The new site is an online video game magazine. http://www.gamerfocus.com The Wiki is dedicated to everything video games. http://www.gamerfocus.net (It's up now!)

But wait, there's more! What? Yes! Instead of a normal bannerized, popup ridden cheats site, there is the video game cheats wiki, at http://www.cheatswiki.com

All those sites, this sites, and a couple others are being integrated into the GamerFocus Network. That's why I haven't been around much lately. I've been getting a team together to get everything going.

Any thoughts? Post 'em on the talk page.

GamerFocus Team

Allrighty. The GamerFocus site is up, but I'm not gonna start advertising until I have some actual content to keep people coming. With the cheats wiki and all that, it shouldn't be TOO hard to build decent content, but that's not what I'm concerned about. What I AM worried about are the video game reviews and previews and all that carp.

I'm looking for a team of people to write for the GamerFocus Network, just doing stuff like previews, reviews, next-gen news coverage, all that stuff. If you're interested, shoot me an email at agentseethroo@blackboxrepublic.com.

Question for all users

Do you think I should change the name of the Halo Wiki to the Halopedia? Just a thought. - AgentSeethroo 15:24, 9 Aug 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)

Halopedia!

Okay, everyone. I'm registering http://www.halopedia.com, and the wiki will be moved there! Expect the site to go down for a day or two when we're moving things. In the mean time, there are a couple other wikis in the Network to work on! I suggest checking http://www.cheatswiki.com. -- AgentSeethroo 12:42, 11 Aug 2005 (Eastern Daylight Time)
