The Slipspace Engine is a game engine developed by 343 Industries.[1]
Development
Around the release of Halo 5: Guardians the engine was secretly worked on, and took years to develop. The Slipspace Engine demo at E3 2018 was the culmination of the then years of work.[1]
Games
Halo Infinite
It is the game engine that is being used the for the upcoming Halo Infinite.[2]
Trivia
The engines name is a direct reference to the in-universe method of faster-than-light travel method, Slipstream Space.
