This article is about the AI classification. For New Mombasa's Superintendent itself, see Superintendent.
The Superintendent-class artificial intelligence is a type of second generation "dumb" AI in service with the UEG.[2]
Overview
As an urban infrastructure AI construct, a Superintendent-class was in charge of making sure the municipal systems of a city functioned smoothly and safely. Infrastructural departments that a Superintendent-class might oversee include, but are not limited to, Departments of Health and Human Services, Housing, Public Safety, Recreation, Streets and Sanitation, and Utilities and Transportation.[3] Each of Earth's six tether cities have a Superintendent AI to monitor them.[4]
