- "With a one-forty-grain armor-piercing round, the SAS-10 has an effective range of sixty-two meters. Even at five meters, the round's velocity would only be three hundred and eighty-nine meters per second. You wouldn't even scratch my outer shell."
- — Fred-104, commenting on the SAS-10's ineffectiveness on his armor[1]
The Sevine Arms 10mm Special (SAS-10) is an automatic pistol manufactured by Sevine Arms. The sidearm is used by paramilitary forces within the Ministry of Protection on the human Outer Colony of Gao. The SAS-10 was favored by Special Inspector Veta Lopis.[2]
Specifications
A rather large sidearm with a long barrel, the SAS-10 is a versatile weapon that is fully automatic. The sidearm can be equipped with weapon attachments, such as a laser aiming module. The SAS-10 can fire 10mm ammunition and can be equipped with armor-piercing rounds weighing 104 grains (6.7 grams), as well as explosive ammunition, though members of the Gao Ministry of Protection often use standard soft-point bullets.[2]
With armor-piercing rounds, the SAS-10 has an effective range of 62 metres (200 ft). At five meters, the weapon's rounds' velocity is 389 m/s (1,280 ft/s).[2]
