The Forerunner Boomerang Tank Carrier is a deleted Promethean ship that was intended to be introduced in Halo 5: Guardians.[1] It was able to dock 3 Cannon Pods. If a Cannon Pod is docked towards the back of the ship, it functions as the 'pilot' for the entire Boomerang, while the remaining ships function as gunners. Cannon Pods can detach from the Boomerang and function independently. The Boomerang appears to hover off the ground, and attached Cannon Pods will hover slightly above the Boomerang body.
