The Calypso fulfills a purpose similar to Black Cat-class subprowler. Calypso-class exfiltration craft were in use in throughout the Human-Covenant War, most notably during Operation: PROMETHEUS in 2537.[1] In late 2552, a Calypso exfiltration craft was dispatched to transport ONI agent Connor Brien off a Covenant-occupied Beta Gabriel, where Brien had been observing a Jiralhanae pack.[2]
