Warrior is a Sangheili rank used by the Storm.[1] Warriors wear golden armor, which denotes their status as field commanders.[2] Their armor, especially the helmet, is quite similar in appearance to that worn by Sangheili Generals in service to the Covenant; however, it is a duller shade of gold and leaves the wearer's forearms exposed.
A collection of the most experienced and battle-hardened Sangheili from the previous war now comprise the Sangheili Warrior class, which is effectively an elevated role of nobility within the Covenant military. Utilizing incredibly reinforced combat harnesses and devastating Type-33 Light Anti-Armor Weapons, these sangheili are probably one of the most intimidating Covenant units in operation, violently engaging the enemy with unmatched ferocity and brilliant strategy.[1]
