Talk:Sangheili Warrior
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Storm Ranks[edit]
Belong in their own separate category. Not among Covenant Ranks. They are not Covenant. Aside from Jul, none of these elites have even served in the Covenant. These are Colony-World Sangheili.
Example: What justification do you have for this Warrior being listed underneath General in the hierarchy? Or Commander above Major/Officer?--AvuMedTelcam 21:57, 26 September 2012 (EDT)
- The template at the bottom is not exclusively Covenant. It represents all ranks and titles used by the Sangheili.— subtank 04:31, 27 September 2012 (EDT)
You have the Storm Ranks intermingled with exclusively Covenant Ranks. Since it is obvious these Sangheili are not Covenant and are set aside, they should have their own category, like 'Refumee's Heretics. It is just silly the way it is now.--AvuMedTelcam 18:17, 27 September 2012 (EDT)
- Did you read what Subtank said? Its a general listing of Sangeili ranks regardless of what faction they are with. Its not tangled up & silly the way it is, its simplified. Its too much to be trying to create another template just for this faction especially when they share ranks that are not exclusive to the Covenant faction.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 21:09, 27 September 2012 (EDT)
"More of a philosophy than a rank"--AvuMedTelcam 21:31, 27 September 2012 (EDT)
- Wouldn't need to reiterate my previous comment. Since little is known about the ranks/titles, it is a proper practice to put it in the general template. Once we have sufficient information that they are distinctly unique from the Covenant ranks/titles, then it shall be considered whether they should be given their own individual template. Oh, and Heretic Sangheili ranks are in dispute for now.— subtank 01:50, 28 September 2012 (EDT)
Just wait for The Thursday War then. That should be more than sufficient. These elites were not in the Covenant. And the picture for the Heretic Minor is a Heretic Major.--AvuMedTelcam 10:57, 28 September 2012 (EDT)
Hm. The helmet seems to be a modified version of the curved Halo: CE helmet that we have so far not seen in another game. The flanges aren't nearly as large, but the curved crest seems similar. -- Specops306 Autocrat Qur'a 'Morhek 22:59, 28 September 2012 (EDT)
I have proof that the Storm uses Covenant ranks. This page, for instance, needs to be merged with General, for that is what this is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5WbZezbtEo Pause at 0:16. Look at the Commendation that comes up. 'Elite General Slayer' and the description is 'Kill Elite Generals'. This can also be applied to Major and Commander.--AvuMedTelcam 13:36, 12 October 2012 (EDT)
Okay, this page, along with Commander should have been merged already to their proper ranks...--AvuMedTelcam 20:29, 22 October 2012 (EDT)
I'm sure we can wait until the release date. By then, we would have absolute proof that these ranks are the same as you said.— subtank 20:42, 22 October 2012 (EDT)
I don't know how much more absolute you need than that, but fine, if you really wanna wait until all the other information is released and update it with the rest of Halo 4 whatever.--AvuMedTelcam 16:49, 26 October 2012 (EDT)
