Biography
One of the few cadets from Earth, Chen attended the Corbulo Academy of Military Science as a freshman of Hastati Squad. Chen's academic performance at Corbulo was exemplary, and he was a keen participant in lectures.[3] However, is scores in combat training were considered sub-par, which he blamed on his maverick squadmate Thomas Lasky. Like almost everyone in the squad he shunned Lasky, considering him an "Innie-lover" for being somewhat sympathetic to Insurrectionist aims.[4]
Chen's father would often message him while he was at Corbulo in response to his performance. Chen took his father's advice to heart, but could be distressed if he felt he had not lived up to his father's expectations.[5]
During the Covenant invasion of Circinius IV in 2526, Chen was killed by an Energy Sword-wielding Sangheili.[6]
