Tutorial is a custom map included in the Halo Editing Kit bundled with the PC port of Halo: Combat Evolved. It is included as an example of what players can do when making their own maps. Unlike the rest of the maps included with the game, it is not selectable in the menus by default and is not designed for regular play—instead intended as an example for prospective modders to base their own creations on. The Halo Editing Kit additionally comes with a tutorial series that guides the user on how to create the Tutorial map.

Overview[edit]

Layout[edit]

Tutorial is a small map that could be described as a very small and simplified version of Battle Creek, with two bases on either side and a teleporter to quickly swap sides.
