Verdant Horizon was a Forerunner of the rate of Lifeworkers. She served the Ecumene during the Forerunner-Flood war.[1]
Biography[edit]
During the war with the Flood, Verdant Horizon worked in the 111th Thema as part of a crew assigned to decontaminate vessels which had been infected by Flood. During this time, Verdant's archmedicus was killed by Faber, the Master Builder. After the Ur-Didact was recovered from his long captivity with the Flood in Uthera Midgeerrd, Verdant Horizon was the one who tended to his recovery and informed the Didact of Faber's reckless practices of expediting decontamination procedures.[1]
Personality and traits[edit]
Verdant Horizon carried herself with an aura such that she reminded the Didact of his wife, the Librarian. She was tall and slender. She bore sleek white personal armor covered in customary notches, channels and recesses that held the various tools of her trade including scanners, probes, sampliers, pacifiers, and so forth.[1]
