From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
This is the form submission page for those wishing to become a reporter for The Lockout Weekly, if you wish to become a reporter follow these 3 steps:
1. Read and understand the Reporter Rules and Obligations (RRO) below
2. Copy and paste the wiki code of the blank sample Reporter Submission Form into a subheading titled with your username and fill it out
3. Send a Board Blast to me informing me of your application.
A reporter is a member of The Lockout Weekly team who, at any given time, may think up an idea for an article. From there, the reporter has two options. The first is to send me a board blast or email (given to them upon successful submission) containing their idea and any funny or clever things they would like to see in it. I will from there write a full story based on your idea, editing it if I see it fit. I will email the reporter the final article, and if they approve it will be published with them given partial credit. The second is to write the article themselves. Desired length for an article is between 1/4 of a page and 1 whole page, although it can be shorter or longer if it is necessary. From there, the reporter will send it to me via email and I will look over it and make appropriate changes (including spelling or grammatical error fixing). I will email it back to the reporter, who will approve the changes. Once the changes are approved, I will publish the article giving you full credit. Please not that although you write the stories, they will be submitted under my username and credit will be given at the bottom of the article in bold. There are no required amounts of stories to be submitted, and a reporter may submit an idea or article to me at any time. Not however though that if you go over 6 months without any submissions I will send you an email or board blast questioning your membership and whether you still wish to be a reporter. A list of active reporters will be displayed at the bottom of my 'About Me' as well as on this page. The Lockout Weekly parodies everything from fan rumors and requests to actual world events, so pull ridiculous things from Weekly Updates, Bungie Forums, and even News sites such as CNN and 'Weeklify it' to your heart's content.
