UNSC Priority Transmission 00143A-23

UNSC Priority Transmission 00143A-23 was a series of reports sent by several individuals to Spartan 92738-61842-LC sometime during or after 2558. Four in number, these reports all dealt with various aspects of the Spartan's investigations into the background of the Created conflict. Specifically, they were concerned with the origins of Cortana's rampancy. Each report contained an attached file which had been requested by the Spartan for perusal.[1][2][3][4]
THE CRYORAETH DIALOGUE[edit]
This report was sent by the AI Peleg. It contained a file called "The Cryoraeth Dialogue", which Spartan 92738-61842-LC had requested from the Signals archive of UNSC Infinity for the purpose of forensic analysis. This file consisted of a conversation between AIs Cortana and Aine, which revealed that Aine had survived the Infinity's impact on Requiem and had actually been terminated by Cortana. The report was classified "EYES ONLY TOP SECRET".[1]
SUBJECT DENVER[edit]

This report was sent by ONI security agent Zed Rhodros. It contained a file consisting of an excerpt of the interrogation on Midnight Facility of the San'Shyuum Alo Sebukah, known as "Subject DENVER". In his interrogation, Sebukah revealed that he had seen Cortana on High Charity during its fall and commented on the danger that the Flood posed to AI constructs. The report was classified "EYES ONLY TOP SECRET".[2]
S-117 DEBREIF[edit]

This report was sent by ONI Beta-5 Division operative Sapphire Three. It contained a file consisting of an excerpt of an interview of Spartan John-117 conducted by Sapphire Three on September 26, 2557 at Borneo Station. During the debriefing, Sapphire Three asked the Master Chief about Cortana's state after her recovery from High Charity as well as Cortana's seeming ability to communicate with him over thousands of lightyears supraluminally. The report was classified "EYES ONLY TOP SECRET".[3]
CLAYTON TRANSMISSION B12[edit]
This report was sent by the AI Peleg. It contained a file consisting of an excerpt of "CLAYTON TRANSMISSION B12", the record of the debriefing of Spartan Blue Team by Doctor Veronica Clayton following Operation: FIRST STRIKE in 2552. During the debriefing, Dr. Clayton asked Sergeant Major Avery Johnson about Cortana's contact with a hostile AI onboard the Ascendant Justice, out of concern that such contact inflicted personality matrix trauma upon her. The report was classified "EYES ONLY TOP SECRET".[4]
