The UEG Cartographic Corps are an organisation within the Unified Earth Government, responsible for mapping the Milky Way galaxy and growing the human sphere.[1] They employ the use of the Huygens-class survey ship in their role.[2] It is likely that they are involved in activities similar or related to the Earth Survey Catalog and Military Survey of Uninhabited Planets.

Postwar[edit]
The Cartographic Corps assigned the Huygens-class ship Anjin to find new colonial candidate worlds in order help replace glassed colonies in the Human-Covenant War. Along with humans, the UEG would officially employ at least two Kig-Yar siblings for the task; Viks and Maks Taa.[2]
