Template talk:Human sidearms

Curious question

Why is this template (Template:UNSC sidearms) and that template (Template:UNSC_rifles) separate?

While all the Covenant weaponry are under one template.(Template:Covenant Weapons)

Wouldn't it be easier to merge them together and create a Template:UNSC Weapons? This would actually help the editors and normal users, navigate the UNSC weapons. I wouldn't ask this if the Covenant did the same, but it doesnt. - CIA391 (talk) 20:09, 3 March 2016 (GMT)

IIRC, all the weapons used to be on one template, but were then separated into those categories because the template was becoming too cluttered to look good on an article.
