The Religion The Servants Follow Is Not Covenant[edit]
For whatever reason I can't edit the page, but the Servants of Abiding Truth follow the Sangheili beliefs prior to joining the Covenant. They do not follow Covenant Religion. The Servants revere Forerunner Technology as holy and something not to be tampered with. Which the Covenant did all the time. They follow sangheili tradition pre-Covenant era.--Xzan Tamasee 12:16, 18 September 2011 (EDT)
- Covenant religious beliefs are somewhat varied, being an amalgamation of different cultures. The Sangheili were against altering Forerunner relics, while the San 'Shyuum were split between whether or not to. Consequently, only San 'Shyuum may inspect relics.-- Forerunner 11:45, 18 September 2011 (EDT)
But look at the formation of the Covenant. That belief the Sangheili held were the whole reason for the Sangheili- San Shyuum War. Lak 'Vadam's speech to Thel in Cole Protocol also supports this when he explains what he meant by saying There is heresy, and then there is heresy. At the conclusion of the War when the Covenant was formed, it was agreed that the San Shyuum would interpret the Forerunner artifacts while the Sangheili sought them out and protected them. The Servants do not think anyone fit to judge the relics, just like the Sangheili population did pre Covenant.--Xzan Tamasee 12:16, 18 September 2011 (EDT)
Should we relate to the Storm faction?--Matt98 04:02, 8 October 2012 (EDT)
