Talk:Render to Video
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Outta date[edit]
This article is severely out of date, but I don't have Bungie Pro. I've never used this service, so I know almost nothing about it. Could someone rewrite it? (Please remember to cite sources if you decide to do so.) File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.svg|16px]] DavidJCobb 03:14, November 12, 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry David only YOU can! This article's fate lies in your fingertips, do not fail it.(Epixz lolz)Sith-venator Wavingstrider

- Sith, I may be awesome, but even I can't write about something I've never used! D: Seriously, though, I've never used render to video, I have no idea how it works, I don't even have H3 or a 360 right now, and Bungie.net is disgracefully laggy and badly-coded, so... With regards to rewriting this article, I am disadvantaged in nearly every relevant way possible. File:DavidJCobb_Emblem.svg|16px]] DavidJCobb 02:29, November 13, 2009 (UTC)
Good work. The article's a little more updated, and I just did what little I can, so it's looking pretty good. Still, though, it's a little lacking. Now, I have a very loose familiarity with this feature, and I know what kinds of things articles like this should include, so... My list of things that I would add if I could:
- Release date and details
- Beta testing details, if possible
- Media formats it can convert to
- Mac compatibility (Why wouldn't it be?)
- If it converts to standard media formats, like AVI or MP4, then yes. If it converts to anything QuickTime-specific, like MOV or AAC, then definitely yes.
- Mac compatibility (Why wouldn't it be?)
- Does it work on Halo 3: ODST files?
- Render Points
- Price
- Amount needed for an _____-length video
- How the feature is used
- Step-by-step instructions with screenshots would be great.
- Info on the ability to render both your videos and others'
- Is this the reason why some Films and Film Clips can be played with a flash player?
