The Spartan Field manual explicitly shows us that E-5 = Petty Officer Second Class. We certainly can't list "Spartan" as his rank just because he's a Spartan. Furthermore, we know that can't be his rank because ALL "spartans" in that branch are given an officer's commission. Owen and Hazel are still both enlisted. Note however that if Owen and Hazel "joined" the Spartan Branch. The "grade" would be more of a pay grade and not equivalent to a rank itself. The Spartan rank is the outlier and thus post-war we cant assume they stayed in the og Branch they were in after 2553. They would be getting officer pay if they joined Spartan Operations. E = enlisted and E5 = PO2. But I guess we can bug Grim again lol.~~TheEld
