Bad picture[edit]

This page needs some love, BAD. Can someone put the "bad picture" template up on the article, please?Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 17:43, 10 October 2011 (EDT)

For some reason I found it at the end of that ride on the power coupling—This unsigned comment was made by CHr0n0sPh3r3 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

You know after you disable the shield in Sacred Icon, where an enforcer and a bunch of flood battle, and you might have a couple of grunts and jackals with you---CHr0n0sPH3r3

If I recall it was classified as a game glitch.Halo3 05:37, 5 July 2007 (UTC)--Halo3

Lonely?[edit]

I found the Sentinel armed with the Needler in one of the crashed production factories, that's true. But it wasn't very lonely. It was right between other Sentinels and Enforcers. Rezo 'Scratoqee File:LocustHW.png|38px]] (Talk) 19:17, July 28, 2010 (UTC)

It's lonely in that there is only one Sentinel with a Needler. The Lone Ranger is lone because he's a single Texas Ranger. He doesn't stop being The Lone Ranger even if Tonto's standing right next to him. --Dragonclaws(talk) 22:45, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Explanation[edit]

Okay, after looking at the linked thread, it's clear that the explanation we have isn't accurate. Evil Otto looked at a video of the NS and said "The needler sentinel that was cut from the game dropped a sentinel arm weapon (identical in appearance to the beam weapon) that shot small red needles. It even had its own unique sentinelly, needly crosshair and pickup image." and "There was a time when we had a sentinel red needler weapon, but it looks like it did, in fact, get completely cut after all and that this little dude is some aberration of a different variety that our test team missed."

Later on, Dojorkan suggests "I wouldnt say its a glitch just a mistake. Say of they use a drop down box to select a weapon from the list of weapons, his mouse could have simply slipped and selected a needler."

I say we reword the given explanation to say it was considered but rejected, and perhaps present Dojorkan's suggestion. Or not. Speculation not to be encouraged and all. In any case, this deleted needler weapon for the Sentinel should be noted somewhere. If not given its own article, maybe just merged into Sentinel. --Dragonclaws(talk) 19:29, August 23, 2010 (UTC)

Stub[edit]

I am currently in an edit war over whether or not this article should include the "stub" template. My theory is that it shouldn't be there because the article can't really be expanded. Vegerot says that it should have the stub template because it is a short article. He also says that if it doesn't include the template then it should just be deleted. I am doing this so that a third party could possibly intervene and give their opinion. Thanks.--Lt. Commander 光环的家伙1234 Talk (Contribs) (Edits) 18:16, 6 November 2011 (EST)

Also if you look through all the pages on glitches, you will notice most of the pages are relatively short and yet they do not have the stub template.--Lt. Commander 光环的家伙1234 Talk (Contribs) (Edits) 18:22, 6 November 2011 (EST)
You're right.— subtank 06:18, 7 November 2011 (EST)

Except that it can be expanded. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 23:37, 7 November 2011 (EST)!

Just because an article can be expanded doesn't automatically make it a stub. A stub is if an article lacks the necessary information it needs to be a standalone, self-sustained piece. The Ecumene article is pretty short, and probably can be expanded, but that doesn't make it a stub because it stands okay enough for now by itself. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 23:51, 7 November 2011 (EST)
Thank you for that definition, and nice new info Subtank!--Lt. Commander 光环的家伙1234 Talk (Contribs) (Edits) 23:41, 8 November 2011 (EST)

But this article CAN'T stand on its own. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 18:10, 9 November 2011 (EST)

Prove your assertion. Because the article is standing up so far. It contains the necessary information describing what it is, where it came from, and what it does. Tons of glitch articles, like Giant Spartan glitch are short because that's all the information they can carry. Potentially more could be added, and should, but with what it has so far the article is holding up. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 19:31, 9 November 2011 (EST)

Just accept the fact that you were wrong, ok? Just read Tuck's statement carefully. Oh and stop yelling in caps at people.--Lt. Commander 光环的家伙1234 Talk (Contribs) (Edits) 19:30, 9 November 2011 (EST)
