Fate

Do we have any confirmation in any other Spartan Ops chapters that Mountain squad was killed? In S1/Catherine/Spartan Mountain, Mountain Squad can actually survive to the end of the Chapter. There are even two different script lines when you destroy the jammer depending on whether or not Mountain has survived to that point. I'm not sure either. I wrote this article according to the summary of S1/Catherine/Spartan Mountain, "During the attack, the rest of Mountain Squad are killed, leaving Crimson alone to finish their job." It is possible that they survived the attack, but I assumed that they were killed some point between Spartan Mountain and Shootout in Valhalla since you don't see them again in Shootout in Valhalla, and I doubt they was an extraction that took them away. Should we leave their fate ambiguous in the article? —SPARTAN331 04:33, 2 February 2013 (EST)

I wrote the summary according to the most likely event of their fate where they were killed before the end of the chapter, Spartan Mountain. I had a few of them survive by the next chapter in Shootout in Valhalla, but their role at this point was very minute.-Killjax (talk | contribs)

That being the case, I think we should leave their fate ambiguous. It can go either way in gameplay, and we have nothing to confirm either their deaths or their survival.-- Rusty - 112 16:07, 2 February 2013 (EST)
