Rename[edit]

- That's the impression Genesis gives. There is nothing to indicate a change in planet between the successive panels showing his detaining, trial, and transport to the prison via Spirit dropship. The scenery/landscapes are consistent throughout all the panels involving him, including when he is rescued by Regret and given a new purpose.TheEld (talk) 01:04, 10 September 2017 (EDT)TheEld
- I meant to bring this up. There is no source that states the prison to be on Malurok and I've been working on Ripa's article before Warfleet came out and I seem to recall there a source stating the prison was on an otherwise desolate world. I'll try to look for it. Additionally, I don't think we have proof that the Sixteenth Unggoy Disobedience occurred on Malurok. And I'm not sure if the image of the city is even on Malurok. Krith's revolt is clearly to be shown taking place on the world, as Ripa looks upon his keep after defeating the pirate-prince. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 01:07, 10 September 2017 (EDT)
- I wouldn't be too sure about that; there are a lot of binary systems out there. Genesis depicts Ripa's exploits as many and varied, and gives the impression that these are all notable events even on the scale of the Covenant itself rather than just odd jobs he's doing on his homeworld. Also, Decided Heart is only named after the montage of his feats, which I think is a strong case for the preceding events happening somewhere else. The artist just didn't seem to have any other ideas for alien landscapes than a barren, rocky wasteland (that, or it's more of a presentation thing where they focused less on exotic settings and more on the narrative flow). Likewise, I don't think this city is necessarily on Malurok - seeing as Ripa is already wearing his Arbiter armor, he must've paid a visit to High Charity in the interim, so it could really be any Covenant colony. --Jugus (talk) 03:07, 10 September 2017 (EDT)
- The original Warfleet text had only one star referenced. I requested a second star be added specifically because of the two suns visible in Halo Wars: Genesis. However, that said, it's not incontrovertible that the prison is also on Malurok. So while I'd assume it's the case, I wouldn't specifically cite the prison's location. -ScaleMaster117 (talk) 11:53, 10 September 2017 (EDT)

- So Genesis intended for the Unggoy revolt to take place on Malurok as well then, based on the binary star point? I just wanted to be cautious and not assume solely based on Malurok and the world Genesis depicts both having binary stars, since I believe most star systems actually have more than I star IIRC. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 12:05, 10 September 2017 (EDT)
- I won't speak for 343i's intent, but that would be my guess. Tala, as far as we know, is a single-star system so the Grunt Rebellion may not have started on Balaho there based on HW:Genesis.
