Talk:Continental Marines

From Halopedia, the Halo wiki

I agree with this article's proposed deletion. There is no need for this article, considering that it was not mentioned directly in an Halo text, I don't think, and if it was, include this with references. Otherwise, we've seen articles with no direct relation to Halo deleted from this site in the past. I don't see how this doesn't apply for removal. Chris talk 15:53, 12 June 2012 (EDT)

  • Support.svg Support — The U.S. Marine Corps is the only page noteworthy enough considering its United Nations successor is tied so much with it. Otherwise, we could cite the Royal Marines and other European naval infantry for being the predecessors for the Continentals. Grizzlei
  • Support.svg Support - Per Grizzlei.--Spartacus (Talk | Contribs) 15:58, 12 June 2012 (EDT)
  • Support.svg Support - I'd go as far to say we don't need the U.S. Marines page either.--The All-knowing Sith'ari 16:16, 12 June 2012 (EDT)
    • That's certainly reasonable. I'd say just merge the important details such as its Second World War history, customs, traditions, uniforms, etc. into the "Origins" section on the UNSC-MC page. Grizzlei
