Pummeled?

in halo reach when someone is beat downed it means they were killed from behind without the third person animation, while pummeled is the halo reach equivalent of the beat down in halo 3Great Admiral Cole 22:01, May 8, 2010 (UTC)

Yup. The messages are confusing. Greeny-fisty melee kill medal in HR: Game message is "You pummeled X", Medal name is "Pummeled", yet it lists on bungie.net as "Beat Down", same as in H3. Backstabby medal in HR gives message "You beat down X" and is named Assassin in both in-game and bungie.net. Very confusing! --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 22:54, May 18, 2010 (UTC)

Name

Why does it have this name? They should either get their own pages (one for Halo 2/3, and one for Halo: Reach), or the page should be renamed to simply "Melee Kill Medal."Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 19:45, 22 October 2011 (EDT)

• I'd imagine it's because that was the name it had in its first iteration. I don't think we should give them each their own page; that's just redundant.
