Could someone please search for the page number in Halo: The Flood, where the Armed Assault Boats are mentioned? I don't have the copy anymore, and I don't remember the page number. "Albatrosses" in Sandtrap and Relic[edit]
Could the Albatrosses be actually armed assault boats?
Merge with dropship[edit]
I think it should be rather clear from the context that the line in The Flood ("Most combat landings were made via armed assault boats") is not talking about a specific type of insertion vehicle but rather an ordinary Pelican dropship. Covenant boarding craft and dropships are referred to as "assault boats" more than once in the book, which implies the author simply used it as an alternate term for dropship or a similar insertion craft. If this was indeed a never-before-seen type of craft, I think it would've been elaborated upon at least a little or the wording would've been different. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 06:03, 16 August 2011 (EDT)
