Sword Control was the callsign of an Office of Naval Intelligence operative at ONI's SWORD Base on Reach.[1]
Biography[edit]
Fall of Reach[edit]

From an unknown date, Sword Control coordinated air traffic within the vicinity of SWORD Base. When the base came under attack by forces of the Fleet of Valiant Prudence on July 26, 2552, he was likely in command of the numerous UNSC Army and Air Force aircraft fighting for control of the skies. During the subsequent battle, he provided aid to NOBLE Team members Catherine-B320 and Spartan-B312 as they fought to secure the base grounds. After successfully driving off the Ceudar-pattern heavy corvette leading the attack on the base, Sword Control coordinated with an orbital defense platform in orbit to destroy the ship—sending it plummeting into Big Crater Bay.[1]
He survived the Covenant's second attack on SWORD Base on August 14,[2] and remained at the base until at least August 29, when he provided support to NOBLE Team when the Spartans defended Dr Catherine Halsey's lab from a Covenant assault.[3]

Sword Control is voiced by American voice actor John Patrick Lowrie, who also voices the Sniper in the 2007 game Team Fortress 2.
