Sopron was a city on the human Inner Colony world of Reach[1] People from the area were known to have a distinct accent.[2]

Human-Covenant War[edit]
During the Fall of Reach, UNSC forces engaged the Covenant in the region.[3]
The area surrounding Sopron was glassed by August 14, 2552, but not the city itself. The Ardent Prayer was in orbit near the city on the same day.[4][Note 1]
