Shock Chain is an armor ability created by the Forerunners for use by Prometheans. When used, it creates a crackling red energy field around the operator, damaging enemies who are nearby. They are generally used by Promethean Crawlers, though can also be picked up and used by Spartans and their Mjolnir power armor.

Halo: Spartan Strike

Shock Chain is available for use in Halo: Spartan Strike as an armor ability. It is first encountered in Mission 14: Up in the Air through the rest of the game as a common drop from dead Crawler Snipes. Some Crawlers may themselves use the ability against the player.
