Ruk Ariaustin was an employee of the Office of Naval Intelligence and the design lead for the Watershed Division's Semi-Powered Infiltration armor.[1]

Ruk Ariaustin's name is based off Halo Community member "Rukari Austin" who is friends with Jeff Easterling.[2]
