==Biography==
Raas 'Yajadai served in the [[Covenant military]] for decades, and by [[2552]], he had become a [[Sangheili Councilor|High Councilor]] of the [[Covenant]] [[High Council]]. He was among a 14-number band of Sangheili that was present at [[Installation 05]]'s [[Control Room (Installation 05)|Control Room]] on [[2552#November|November 3, 2552]].{{Ref/Reuse|AOR}} 

'Yajadai led the group towards the a Forerunner door to the Control Room. However, their path was blocked by Jiralhanae, led by [[Avitus]], also known as the Thrallslayer. Tensions escalates as 'Yajadai refused to be escorted by the Jiralhanae, asserting their right to proceed without their presence. The confrontation becomes violent when the Thrallslayer's group opens engages the Elites, killing two Sangheili instantly and throwing the situation into chaos. 'Yajadai himself engaged Avitus in single combat. Although he bisected Avitus' [[Brute Shot]], the Thrallslayer subdued the High Councilor. 'Yajadai was taken to the [[Bastion of the Brutes]], where he was confined to a cell on Avitus' orders.{{Ref/Reuse|AOR}}

Shortly after, the Bastion of the Brutes came under the assault of [[Arbiter]] [[Thel 'Vadam]]ee. 'Yajadai, along with his fellow prisoners, were freed from their imprisonment. Together, they ventured to the facility's landing pad, where the Jiralhanae held a {{Pattern|Protos|Scarab}}.{{Ref/Level|H2|The Great Journey}}
