Launchsite 2A is one of many UNSC Planetary Defense facilities located on an unknown human colony.[1]

Location[edit]
Launchsite 2A is built into a mountainous region of the planet, with an artificial canal situated at its lower level.[1]
Layout[edit]
The ground level facility is roughly C-shaped with structures built along a road running through the facility; the loading dock is at one end of the road, while Launch Pad 03 at the other. There is a FSS-1000 Sabre bunker and hangar bay near the loading dock, while an elevator near the launch pad grants access to the underground levels. The operations tower is situated in the center of the facility, with the communications tower across the road, accessible via a bridge to the outer edge of the facility.[1]
History[edit]
As of 2560, the facility serves as a proving ground for the FSS-1000 Sabre. The 22nd First Response Wing is assigned to the facility; the unit's insignia is printed prominently on wall near the launch pad.[1]
