Khar 'Tvorn is a Sangheili artisan-armorer serving in the Swords of Sanghelios. He is one of the engineers attached to ANVIL Station as part of the Sangheili component to the Anvil Initiative.[1]
Biography[edit]
'Tvorn was born on The Refuge, a Forerunner shield world first settled by Ussan rebels during the founding years of the Covenant. In those early years, the Refuge had been believed destroyed during the Rending, and as such the Ussans had been left to live secluded from Covenant society for three millennia. When the shield world was rediscovered by Covenant separatist forces during the Great Schism in 2552, the Ussans — now an independent society in their own right — were freed from their exile and invited to rejoin the galaxy under the banner of the Arbiter, Thel 'Vadam.[1][2]
Due to the Ussans having lived outside the Covenant and its rigid caste system, 'Tvorn does not harbour the same biases toward other species that are held by many other Sangheili. As such, he (and others like him) were considered ideal by the Arbiter for assignment to the ANVIL project to work alongside humanity. Having not fought, or even been aware of, the genocidal war waged by the Covenant against humans, 'Tvorn does not harbour any ongoing ills toward them. On March 3, 2560, he was involved in the study of a newly-recovered suit of ASSAILER-class armor alongside Doctor Luther Mann and Chief Warrant Officer Dariya Voronkov — lending his artisan expertise to its analysis.[1]
Equipment[edit]
'Tvorn wears a specialist Artisan harness, fitted with various hidden tools and sensors.[1]
