In Halo: Reach the achievement is unlocked by completing the Campaign mission Nightfall on Normal, Heroic or Legendary.^[1]

In Halo: The Master Chief Collection the achievement is unlocked by completing Nightfall on any difficulty. The Xbox achievement artwork is a Halo: Reach concept art of the start of the mission, where Jun-A266 and SPARTAN-B312 are moving through the colloquially-known "Dark Zone".

Trivia[edit]

The name of the achievement is a direct quote of John-117, when he asks Sergeant Avery Johnson on board Cairo Station for a weapon.^[2]
