Almost immediately, ''Bier'' opened fire on the [[Colonial Military Authority]] forces - destroying [[UNSC frigate|frigates]] {{CMAShip|Arabia}} and {{CMAShip|Vostok}} almost immediately and forcing the [[UNSC destroyer|destroyer]] {{CMAShip|Heracles}} to retreat back to [[Reach]].
